Whilst working in a clinic she continued studies completing an Advanced Certificate in Health Fitness and Sports Training from TAFE in 1996, a Diploma of Oriental Massage and a Diploma of Reflexology both from Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 1998.
Penny has worked in varied clinical environments from sporting and therapeutic to relaxation spas over the years gaining practical experience throughout.
Penny realises massage is deeply rooted in healing both body and mind. Everyone benefits from physical therapy, especially those with injuries and chronic pain but the effects of stress reduction through massage can benefit the entire body and brain function.
Prevention is always better than cure and regular massage is an excellent tool for athletes to keep niggling injuries at bay and improve recovery. It is also beneficial for desk workers with poor posture, headaches and stress relief. Massage also increases circulation and improves joint flexibility, both especially helpful for aging bodies.
